Product Story
These colorful and funny cocktail mixers are a small-sized representation of some of the bird species that inhabit the Colombian territory.
This kind of craft was originally intended to be a representation of the masks used during the Carnival of Barranquilla – a celebration that takes place every February in the city of the same name.
The masks that inspired the Ave Cocktail Picks are carved in wood and have their origin in West Africa. This technique came to the Colombian Caribbean coast during colonial times.
The animal figures used for this type of handicrafts represent not only the cultural heritage but also, the biodiversity of America and Africa.
